I had a bit of insomnia last night so I went in to work at my company's datacenter near McCormick Place at 3am. By the time I was finished, Bike the Drive had commenced and I got to see its beginning with a lovely Chicago Sunrise.

Absolutely beautiful! The skyline is so breathaking...it looks so menacing and huge. The way Chicago's skyline should be! Great shot.

I hardly recognize that skyline!

It amazes me how much a few new buildings are changing the skyline.

That was a beautiful morning for a ride. I was out there as part of the volunteer staff for the event. If you saw a bike pulling a blue trailer with an orange safety flag, that was me.

For anyone who is curious, yes, this is an annual event. Come out next year and ride! www.bikethedrive.org
