Part of my moving to the downtown area experience was purchasing a road bike and committing myself to using it whenever possible since I spend about 2 hours in a car every weekday commuting to work. After getting over the initial fear of getting run over by a car, I must say that cycling to get around the city is a great way to get to places without the hassles of traffic and finding parking!

Don't worry I took those sunglasses off after doing laps in this tunnel and resumed being Whatevergeek :P

Photos were achieved using a Bogen SuperClamp with Magic Arm attached to the bicycle frame when pointed forward, and to the handle bars when pointing towards me.

Very nice idea. I must say, I like the bottom one the best. Perhaps it's because it doesn't have that scary character looking back at me. ;)

Just kidding, of course.

By the way, is that the Adler up ahead? I used to sit in the grass on the banks of the Lake there for hours, late into the night, with the warm summer wind blowing off the water. I'm sure the skyline is even more spectacular now than then. I really have to get back there soon. Great shots.
