Title: Rene A FlorCruz 1944-2008

In Memory of my Father

I'm sure many of you are wondering what happened to me, since this is the longest in its 4 years that Whateverland has gone without an update.

On September 30th, my father passed away after battling cancer for almost 2 years. I prefer not to verbally express my feelings of his loss, so I will be keeping this text short and have posted a compilation with some of my favorite photos of him found in his albums when he was growing up as well as some of my favorite photos I took of/with him.

I can only promise that the Whateverland project will continue, and I thank all of you who have expressed words of support for me as well as my family!

Archie- a wonderful tribute. As I mentioned to you, I think the last photo there says it all. It was a privilege to get to meet your dad a few months ago. He leaves with all of us a tremendous legacy in so many things, but especially in his talented and thoughtful son.

Hi Archie,
This is a very moving tribute. I lost my father to cancer in October of 2007. My dad was 58 when he died. I just thought I would let you know I am thinking about you.
