While riding my bike around the neighborhood I came across an intersection with an uncapped fire hydrant for the kids to play in. Gotta love Chicago summers!

Absolutely a fantastic capture. I love the late afternoon sun, the urban summer feel and the water on a hot day.

You nailed these shots.. so glad I found like to your site off of notraces.com site - thanks Bob.

this looks the old neighborhood in Chicago, around Pilsen? Excellent shot. Just catching up with my old photobloggers.

My sister recommended your site to me, and I'm so glad she did. These photographs remind me of when I was a child. There was a man on the fire dept. and he would open the hydrants for all the kids in the neighborhood on hot summer days. This is an awesome capture! Thank you for the memories. I'm looking forward to seeing your other photographs. This is a classic!
