Title: Liquid Smoke

Capture Date/Time: April 9 2004 21:57
Camera: Nikon D100
Lens: 60mm f/2.8D AF Micro-Nikkor
Focal Length: 60mm
Aperture/Shutter Speed: F/16 - 1/160sec
ISO: 1600
Flash: Alien Bees B800 Studio Strobes

This one was taken from a some macro liquid experiments that I was trying to do with the assistance of Mark. We basically went digging around in his kitchen to try to find liquids that we could mix to get some neat effects. Here is coffee creamer being poured into coffee. I really liked its smoke-like property as it first hits the coffee.

Very nice! Great "depth of creamer", and it's almost as if the coffee isn't there - the "smoke" is properly suspended in mid-darkness.
