i agree. the sky, and the composition, make this shot. a completely clear sky and this shot wouldn't be as soothing.

people take statues all the time, but i agree the sky is what makes this shot unique. it's a total gothic cliché to have such statues on a bad weather day. this makes the figures seem almost hopeful. funny how context changes everything.
