I was attempting to photograph the giant Christmas tree downtown and ended up also photographing the side of the Chicago Temple downtown across from the Daley Center on Washington St.

In order to get the details of the backlit stained glass windows of this image, I combined two images using the dynamic range stacking technique. Afterwards the stone wall and floor in the image looked too bright/flat, so I adjusted the contrast using a levels adjustment. This brought out the subtle light reflections coming from those windows.
