Title: Green Light

Capture Date/Time: December 21 2004 12:42
Camera: Nikon Coolpix 4500
Lens: Fisheye Converter
Focal Length: 7.9mm
Aperture/Shutter Speed: F/5.3 - 1/272.9 sec
ISO: 100
Flash: No

Despite the cold temperatures along with a crazy wind chill factor, I decided to spend a couple hours today walking downtown with my very neglected and underused CP4500. Although it doesnt have as much control as my D100, it still has one function that the D100 doesn't have: full 180 degree circular fisheye images. My favorite direction to point this camera, straight up! Here is one taken on Wacker Drive.

I don't know what's more amazing, this shot or the fact that you braved the cold weather we're having as of late.

Wow, that's great! It almost looks like a reflection in some metallic ball, but you aren't in it! very cool!

the view, the placement of the green traffic light with the use of a fisheye lens, all to make a fantastic picture

holy shit man thats one of the best shots Ive seen in ages, full 180 having the streets all around the image is great and the use of the streetlight as a vertical to tie it all together is class. Probably the best fisheye shot I've seen, makes me want to get one now.

I feel a sudden compulsion to buy a fisheye lens and move to a big city...
