Title: Wall of Lights

Capture Date/Time: December 21 2004 14:53

ISO: 200
Flash: None

One of my favorite things to photograph is artificial light that creates smooth shades of color and shadowing. The wall in this photo is part of one of the lounges at the Chicago Circle Center at the University of Illinois at Chicago which was completely renovated around the time that I graduated there, transformed into a very modern style space. Compared to the concrete slab that most of the university consisted of when I was a student there, its quite an improvement!

You're right - these are really cool patterns of light and color transitions - very smooth and very calming.
