Hi Everyone, it's great to be back! Thanks again to Shane Mielke who took great care of Whateverland while I was away! If you enjoyed the work he presented on here, be sure to keep up with him over at his newly released photoblog: www.terraspirit.com (it's not shamless if it comes from a friend hehe). Here is my first which I'm sure will be of many from my roadtrip eastward which included Cleveland then NYC. I took this one while riding on the top of a double decker bus. Although I'm not to thrilled about the bright sky being blown out white on this one, I liked how the pedestrians were spaced apart and the shadows they casted.

Welcome back Archie ! I'm still pissed I couldn't go this time around.

Can't wait to see all your new pics - your compositions always tell a great story about the scene you are shooting.

Its good to have you back Archie. And yup, your right your site was carefuly atendend while you were out.

I really like this picture, it looks like the Abby road :P. I think that the perspective from the top of the bus is what makes it to me . Well done :)

This photo looks like you're on a movie set or something. Very cool.

When I first saw this shot, I was asking myself how you managed to get the use of a moveable dolly for this. ;-) Actually, the shot reminds me of the Beatles' Abbey Road cover. Very nice composition, Archie.
