One things that Chicago is known for is the unique bridges that go over the rivers around the city. This one is seen near 18th and Canal St, which is used for passenger and freight trains. There is a little house on top of the bridge, where I'm guessing someone who controls the lift of the bridge stays in to monitor when the bridge should be lowered or not. It made me wonder if they have running water in there or if the toilet flushes and empties on the train, hah.

Thats where they are going to make the driver from the Dave Matthews band tour bus stay during his jail term..

I like the sepia.. makes the picture look like its about 80 years old :)

I agrre. The sepia tone makes it look so old. In the other hand, what kind of wondering is that? ^:) (lol)

dude, the dave matthews tour bus shat all over my brothers' sightseeing boat. i kid you not. they looked up and saw all this falling water, and the sewage ended up drenching the people in the rows directly behind them. just missed them. but still. revolting.

Love the photo for several reasons, not the least of which being the fact that my train traverses it twice a day.
