Although I have taken my camera to several weddings, this weekend will be the first time I was ever hired to cover the event. I am teaming up with Naz from www.absenter.org who is also responsible for building my site. We will be covering a non-conventional wedding which plans to have some sort of nightclub atmosphere which should be pretty cool. I love doing these little photo gigs on the side to change things up a bit and get out my daily routines.

This photo was taken last year when I was hired to photograph my co-worker's daughter's baptism. From left to right: her son Benjamin, daughter Fabiola, and younger sister Marilyn. The baptism was outdoors and it was around 90 degrees outside. Although I nearly passed out from heat stroke it was a very interesting culturally influenced event to experience. I look forward to doing more freelance as the days get warmer.
