Title: Three Towers

These three towers are located at the very edge of Oak Brook. Throughout my childhood I remember seeing them from a distance (especially at night when their beacons would slowly flash), wondering what they were for. Over the weekend I finally decided to drive out and see where they stand, only to find out that they were broadcasting antennas for a radio station located in the middle of a residential neighborhood. I wonder if the people there will be growing an extra limb or eye from being so close to the radio waves...

I can feel my fillings vibrating. Hopefully your radio reception was decent growing up!

The red tone from the setting (?) sun really gives this photo a lot of oomph. Those towers are quite amazing.
