Ok here is a little change in direction for you overly sensitive people out there who think all I do is watch chickens kill each other. The first 2 full days I was in the Philippines was spent volunteering in a Medical Mission. My parents are members of a medical organization in Chicago that raises money to offer medical services to different parts of the Philippines each year. My whole family was involved, my Dad (in the lower middle image) is a pediatrician, and my mother (who is a Registered Nurse), two sisters and I handled the pharmecutical distribution and management during the mission. The first day was absolute madness as you can see by the image, we had about 1000 people come from all over just too attend, we ran out of medications to distribute well before the line had reached its end. I've always wanted to do volunteer work, especially since I had many friends that took time out of their lives to help down south post hurricane Katrina. Taking 2 days out of my vacation to help out in the Philippines was worth it, and a great wake up call to see how the rest of the world really needs help.

I think people are still worn out from crying about the cockfights... I think its really cool your parents took time to do this.

i'm with david - it was great of your parents, you and your sisters. the whole affair actually looks pretty organized in the photos although i'm sure it was overwhelming in reality. that's a really nice photo of your dad.
