Since this past weekend was unbearably frigid to be out shooting (and trust me, it takes some serious cold to keep me inside on a clear sunny shooting day!), I will be dedicating this week's posts to my friends with some casual portaits of them.

This 3 photo series called "The Cabin Crew" consists of Mark (top), Renee (middle), and Karen (bottom). They are the ones who I stayed in a cabin with for the weekend up in Wisconsin. The lighting in these shots was done with an off camera flash cord so I was able to point the light in all sorts of directions such as letting it bounce right off the floor of the wood deck that we were standing on outside.

I haven't been able to go out, either. That was some cold, huh?? Dang. Nice to be back in the 20's again. :O)

These are great shots, Archie. The middle one is right out of a Vanity Fair shoot...
