This past weekend I went back to the abandoned Brach's Factory for more exploration with Photobloggers Michael Chu, Yvette Fevurly, Thomas Marlow, and John Schroeder. This time I was more prepared and brought a tripod for some of the rooms that were nearly pitch dark. I particularly liked this room, which had light coming in from a single small window at the far end. The long exposure makes it look much brighter than it actually was in there. If you didn't realize this already... I am quite fond of negative space!

This is nice. This is the room I wish I had my tripod. Great light. Well shot!

Yes, this room was pitch pitch black except for a little bit of light up at the front. Great shot! It seemed like you were standing there forever. This came out really nice.

I love the green tint. This was defiantly shot with a Nikon. Beautifully done!

Fantastic shot from the really small amount of light in this room.

The light is a great POI and the impactual relevence it adds to the image is great as it appears your tripod is up high enough to keep the light source just above the impressed horizontal line. A lower tripod height would have put the light below the line making the image perspective to fall below horizontal, another dynamic but I'm thinking not as strong as it is like this.
The temperature retains an impressed sense of emptiness and abandonment with a cool damp quality for my visual interpretation also.

Jesus, 30 seconds... and it's still really dark. I take it you took a headlamp or torch or something along with you.
